Kali Pop-folk singer Her birth name is Galina Ivanova and Kali is only her stage-name invented by Slavi Trifonov. She was born on 2nd October, 1975 in Sofia. Her talent was found in 1990 by her brother when she was 15. At her 18 she took working engagements in Vienna and during the time 1993-1994 she lived and worked there. When she came back here Kali undersigned a contract with the Bulgarian Music Company. That joint work leads to her first solo album. Currently Kali prepares her fifth album together with her new partners from ARA Music. Kali possesses some prestige prizes which include: a prize for the most progressive singer of 1998 bestowed by `New Folk` Magazine as well as the 1st place in the `Golden mustang` competition in Varna, 2001.
